Jennifer and Paul had just moved into their house and were still in unpacking and furnishing mode. They gave me the grand tour and as we walked through all the rooms, you could see how the house was slowly transitioning into a home. I love how what I do intertwines with that transition. Photos I took on their wedding day were scattered about, ready to hang up. Soon there’d be a little more life to those walls and a little less echo. 

I captured the two of them together around the house and at their neighborhood park. I can imagine that twenty years from now, their son will look at these photos and enjoy seeing the first home he lived in and the excitement his mom and dad had about becoming parents.
