A couple years ago I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family at a wedding I was photographing. At the time, Cam was the only child. He has since grown into the cutest little guy AND he gained an adorable brother, Dylan (who is turning 1 this week)!   

Back when we did their first family session, they brought along an interesting prop. It’s almost wrong calling it a ‘prop’ since he is more like a family member. 😉  Bernie, the giant moose stuffed animal has been with their family for a few years now. Cam had milestone photos taken along with him so OF COURSE Bernie came along to their photo session with me. 

So for their second family session, how could we not have Bernie be a part of it again?! Cracks me up just thinking about how that guy was lugged around the park and with the passers-by surely wondering what the heck we were doing with a gigantic moose. 😉 

I love seeing what things are meaningful to a family. The various items or heirlooms or recreated photos — it is so different from family to family and so special. And of course we joked about how Bernie will need to have a seat reserved at Cam and Dylan’s weddings. I mean, how could he NOT be there for that milestone?! 😉
