A few years ago I was shooting a wedding at the Waverly Country Club. (Man, I love that venue.) I remember that it was Fall and the bride wore a satin dress. But what really made the night memorable to me was the DJ. I couldn’t believe this guy. I’d not seen someone (someone who surely did this often) be so energetic and into his music. He brought so much energy and life to the party, I was really in awe. What a rad DJ! 

Because he was so memorable, I got his info and referred him to some clients I booked soon after that wedding. Well, much to my surprise I receive a really sweet thank you card in the mail from him. I mean come on, can this guy get any nicer and be any better of a wedding industry professional?! 

Many weddings and a few years later, “that” DJ has become a very good friend of mine. He asked me to take photos of his newborn son Tanner, which I was honored to do. Tanner was such a little guy when I took these photos (ya, sorry — very late in posting this!) and I couldn’t be happier for Jeff to become a father and his wonderful wife Tara being a new mom!

Jeff and I see one another often and I still refer him to my clients, who in turn all rave about him. His work ethic is amazing and I always feel confident in sending couples his way.

You rock, Jeff! Tanner has one super cool dad to look up to. 🙂
